Salvation Mountain, East Jesus, Salton Sea
Recently relocated to San Diego, been itching to get out and shoot something again. This was a quick trip (5 hours one way) to Niland and the Salton Sea for something quirky.
Salvation Mountain was created by Leonard Knight, mostly out of adobe, straw and paint. Strikingly colorful in what is normally a barren area of Southern California.

Next up was checking out East Jesus, just down the road from Salvation Mountain. Off the grid Libertarians turning garbage into art. More info can be found here.
Last stop was to check out the sunset over the Salton Sea near Bombay Beach.
The Salton Sea has an interesting history behind it that you can read about here.
